The Short Version
We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can leave any time.
What We Collect
- Email list: your email address, and your first name if you give it, when you sign up for the joy list, the 60-second reset, or the first chapter.
- Contact form: your name, email, the topic you choose, and your message.
- Purchases: when online checkout is available, your name, email, and the program you purchased. Payment details are handled by the payment provider and are never stored on this site.
- Site use: basic, non-identifying technical information needed to serve the pages. This site does not use advertising trackers.
How We Use It
To send you what you asked for, to run the programs you join, to reply to your messages, and to send occasional emails from Heidi. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, in keeping with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.
Who Handles It
Email addresses are stored and sent through MailChimp (Intuit Inc.), which may process data in the United States. Contact form messages are delivered to Heidi’s email. We do not sell or rent your information, and we only share it with providers who help us run the site and programs.
Your Rights
Under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act and Canada’s federal privacy law, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email heidi@heidibarkwell.com and we will respond within 30 days.

This site uses only the essential cookies needed for it to function. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.
Children
This site and its programs are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
